epws – European Platform of Women Scientists

Das gFFZ ist seit März 2007 Associate Member bei epws – European Platform of Women Scientists und hat an der ersten Generalversammlung am 27.04.2007 in Brüssel teilgenommen. Die epws versteht sich als "Netzwerk der Netzwerke", bislang sind Netzwerkorganisationen von WissenschaftlerInnen aus mehr als 30 europäischen Ländern vertreten. Ziel ist es, "to promote gender equality in science and research and to actively adress and counter (1) the under-representation of women in research and ist decision making bodies as well as (2) the insuffivcient integration of the gender dimension in science."
