
40 years ago as part of the German Student Movement active women took history into their own hands. The new Women's Movement made social and cultural inequity and violence within gender relations public and developed political requirements, that expanded the rights of women even on a legal basis. The 40th anniversary of the rise of the Student and Women's Movement is a good occasion to talk about the historical and actual meaning of Women's Movement and Feminism.
