This network is an informal association of professors and assistants at Universities of Applied Sciences in Hesse, who are working in the field of Women's and Gender Studies.

Women Make A Career (FrauenMachtKarriere)
(The German title contains a play on words: the word "macht" can be a verb (to make) and the noun "Macht" which means power.)
"FrauenMachtKarriere" was established in 1999 by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Frankfurt (IHK Frankfurt), the Women's Department of the city of Frankfurt and the Protestant Academy Arnoldshain. It consists of a working group with representatives of Diversity Departments of large corporations and representatives from Universities and research centers in the Rhein-Main area. One of their goals is to organise events and conferences wih a focus on Women and Career.
epws – European Platform of Women Scientists
In March 2007 the gFFZ became an Associate Member at epws – European Platform of Women Scientists und has participated in the first general conference on April 27, 2007 in Brussels.
