gFFZ — research center of the Universities of Applied Sciences in Hesse for Women's Studies and Gender Research
The research center is a joint venture of the following Universities of Applied Sciences in Hesse, Germany:
- University of Applied Sciences Frankfurt/Main
- University of Applied Sciences Fulda
- University of Applied Sciences Wiesbaden
- University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt
- Protestant University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt
Our mission is to implement, conduct and facilitate Women's Studies and Gender Research at the above mentioned Hessian Universities of Applied Sciences.
In order to achieve this, we:

support women- and gender-related research projects at these universities.

help to establish and support networking among lecturers, professors, and students who do research in Women's and/or Gender Studies at these universities.

link these academics with Gender Research institutions in the German-speaking countries, as well as with professionals in practice fields and representatives from the business world.

publish research activities and results for these universities of applied sciences.

help to implement Gender Mainstreaming processes at universities of applied sciences in Hessia.

promote the development of the next generation of academic researchers in the field of Women's Studies and Gender Research.
